This is the result I received from Central Ops.net. There are 19 hops from this site to Curtin.edu.au. I had trouble working out where I was to look for the average time in milliseconds for the hops. The I.P. number is 134.7.179.56.
In an attempt to find out the average time in milliseconds as required I visited Network-Tools.com. I presume that the (ms) means millisecond but I don't understand which column I should be using. If I were to use them all the average time would be 88.596491milliseconds.

I found this task quite difficult as I was not really sure what I was doing. It was interesting seeing the differences in the sites. Although they both had the same amount of hops, they hopped to different places. I was surprised that there was a need for so many hops. I have always been carefull of what information I put on the interntet. I think this task has just made me more aware of the importance of security.
