blinkenlights

I loved towel.blinkenlights.nl. It reminded me of a computer that my brother had when I was young. I think it was called a microbee. We had a game that we loaded into it via a standard cassett player. It had no pictures. The game was in the form of a story which you read and you had to select what action your character would take either a, b, or c. At the time I remember I really enjoyed it and I can remember thinking that it would be great to have a picture to look at rather than the elaberate discriptions to read. I would have been very impressed with blinkenlights if I had seen it back then. I can imagine the time it took to create this. All advances in technology take time and normally require small steps. I consider blinkinlights to be a result of Simon Jensen using his knowledge and imagination in an attempt to improve on what was avaliable to him. In my opinion he achieved an amazing result.
